Terry Gibbon will make his second appearance of the season in the British Truck Racing Championship at Donington Park on August 8-9, re-joining the Richard Collett Truck Racing team.

With the experienced Richard Collett continuing his recovering from major surgery, Gibbon will get back behind the wheel of the MAN TGX that he piloted at Pembrey.

On his first outing in the series for a number of years, the Yorkshire racer made an instant impact as he claimed a sublime lights-to-flag victory in race four.

Gibbon then added a podium finish in the weekend’s finale, before then going on to win the fan-voted TotalKare Driver of the Weekend Award.

After allowing Simon Faulkner to take on driving duties last time out at Snetterton, the former FIA European Truck Racing Championship competitor is now poised to return at what is the biggest event on the British calendar, Convoy in the Park.
