Richard Collett Truck Racing has confirmed that Simon Faulkner will drive the team’s No. 95 MAN TGX at Snetterton this coming weekend (July 11-12).
Faulkner – who last competed in the series in 2022 – has been drafted in to replace the experienced Collett, who is continuing to recover from major surgery in May.
Last time out at Pembrey, the team handed a welcome return to Terry Gibbon, who duly delivered a sublime lights-to-flag victory in the penultimate contest of the weekend in South Wales.
“The team is delighted to announce that experienced racer Simon Faulkner will join the team as guest driver number two for Round 4 of the British Truck Racing Championship at Snetterton, stepping in while Richard Collett continues his recovery,” read a team statement.
“Following the team’s fantastic weekend at Pembrey, where Terry Gibbon delivered an outstanding performance behind the wheel, the team is excited to welcome another experienced name to the cockpit for the next round of the championship.
“Simon brings a wealth of truck racing experience, having competed in the UK as well as at selected events across Europe. His knowledge and racecraft make him an excellent addition to the team as preparations continue for another competitive weekend.”
