Reid Trucksport are the latest winners of the Rydam Universal Team of the Weekend Award after showing their fighting spirit in the latest rounds of the British Truck Racing Championship at Donington Park.

Taking centre stage at Convoy in the Park for arguably the biggest event of the season, the squad endured the highs and lows of motorsport across Saturday and Sunday.

Brothers Craig Reid and Simon Reid both starred towards the front of the field and made history in race four as they recorded their first-ever 1-2 finish, with Craig leading home Simon in a tense encounter.

The pair then found themselves on the receiving end of things a few hours later with Craig firstly meeting the gravel trap at the start of the race. On the restart, Simon unfortunately hit the tyre wall at the top of the Craner Curves, which tipped him into a barrel roll.

Thankfully, Simon walked away unhurt from the incident however it has now left the team with plenty of work to carry out before the action resumes at Le Mans in late September.

Launched by series partners Rydam Universal for the 2026 season, the award is designed to recognise the efforts of mechanics and team members – all of who are often the unsung heroes of each round.

As part of their prize, the team were also presented with a product from fellow championship sponsors, Milwaukee Tools and Northside.
