Jenkins Trucksport are the latest winners of the Rydam Universal Team of the Weekend Award after producing a heroic overnight repair job at Le Mans to ensure David Jenkins leads the Division 1 standings into next month’s finale.

Making the annual trip across the English Channel for the penultimate round of the 2026 British Truck Racing Championship season, the former title winners tallied a brace of podiums in front of crowd of almost 80,000.

It was on Saturday night that the deer had to dig deep however as several bouts of contact in race two left Jenkins’ MAN TGS looking somewhat second-hand.

Working through the evening and into the early hours to rectify all issues on the five-tonne machine, Jenkins hit the track on Sunday and was able to bank a solid haul of Division 1 points.

Launched by series partners Rydam Universal for the 2026 season, the award is designed to recognise the efforts of mechanics and team members – all of who are often the unsung heroes of each round.

As part of their prize, the team were also presented with a product from fellow championship sponsors, Milwaukee Tools and Northside.
