Weekend Guide: Brands Hatch – November 4/5

The British Truck Racing Championship will culminate at Brands Hatch this weekend (November 4/5) with champions in both Division 1 and Division 2 set to be crowned on the famous Indy circuit.

As the super-sized series returns to the Kent venue – scene of the 2023 curtain-raiser back in April – here is all the information you’ll be needing to ensure you don’t miss a second of the action:

TITLES TO BE DECIDED

Following 30 captivating races across the length and breadth of the UK, the destiny of both the Division 1 and Division 2 titles will be decided at Brands Hatch over five blockbuster contests this weekend.

With a total of 80 points in both categories up for grabs too, the battle for supremacy is set to reach fever pitch as some of the biggest names in the sport go wheel-to-wheel for outright glory.

In Division 1, Ryan Smith heads into the finale with a 32-point lead in the standings and with at least one hand on what would be an eighth consecutive championship triumph.

Former champion Stuart Oliver and David Jenkins both hold a mathematical chance of overhauling the reigning seven-time champion however both will need things to fall their way if they’re to lift the coveted crown.

Things are much closer in Division 2 with just a single point separating Adam Bint and Paul Rivett, whilst both John Powell and Craig Evans could yet make their mark – albeit both would need to outscore the top two by some margin.
