The British Truck Racing Championship is delighted to announce that the MV Commercial Group – which includes MV Commercial and its sister company Fruehauf – has renewed its long-standing partnership for the 2023 season.
Headed up by Division 1 competitor Tom O’Rourke, this year will mark the fourth consecutive season that the two parties have been aligned together.
As one of the leading providers of Ready to Go and bespoke build trucks in the UK, MV Commercial has built an outstanding reputation as a supplier of top-quality specialist trucks, including crane, tipper & grab, and plant trucks, with more than 150 employees operating from seven different locations.
The company offers a broad range of services, including truck finance, design to delivery vehicle build management, livery design, full inspections and services, and dedicated maintenance support for its 1600 vehicle hire fleet.
Fruehauf meanwhile is the UK’s leading manufacturer of rigid and tipping a heritage that goes back almost 100 years. Operating from the heart of the UK, it employs over 100 people at its 69-acre site in Grantham. With a reputation for precision engineering, it supplies 90% of the tipper and planked trailer market.
Spectators will also see plenty of the iconic red and white colours of MV Commercial and Freuhauf as part of O’Rourke’s MAN livery – with preparations in full swing to compete in the championship’s premier class once again.
Steve Cairns, MV Commercial Group Managing Director, said: “At the MV Commercial Group we’re proud to support a championship that puts the truck, the backbone of many of the UK’s industries, front and center, while at the same time giving fans of trucking itself something unique and thrilling to watch and enjoy.
“We’re excited to see what the 2023 season has in store and to continue to bring the power and performance of these machines to fans across the UK.”
“As somebody passionate about trucks both on and off the truck, I am thrilled to continue our partnership with the BTRC for another season,” added MV Commercial CEO and Division 1 competitor Tom O’Rourke.
