Jock Borthwick will be an unfortunate absentee from the British Truck Racing Championship’s annual visit to Thruxton Circuit on July 8/9 after being ruled out on medical grounds.
The Scotsman – who has graduated up to Division 1 this year and claimed his first win last time out at Pembrey – suffered a number of injuries after being involved in a motorcycle accident while visiting the Isle of Man TT last month.
As it stands there is no timeline on when Jock will return to the track and compete yet.
Everyone at Truck Sport UK and the British Truck Racing Championship wishes Jock all the best as he continues to recover.
