The British Truck Racing Championship will welcome two familiar faces back onto the grid at Donington Park this weekend (August 20/21) for Convoy in the Park.
On what promises one to be the biggest event of the season so far, Simon Cole and Paul Rivett have both confirmed that they will line up to go wheel-to-wheel with the Class of 2022.
Cole – who has been a fan favourite for a number of years – will step up into the Division 1 in his MAN whilst Rivett is set to join forces with NAPA Racing UK as they super-size their motorsport programme with a one-appearance in Division 2 of the championship.
NAPA Racing UK’s motorsport season has been remarkable to say the least with entries into the British Touring Car Championship, Porsche Carrera Cup GB, Mini 7 Racing Club and more
In addition to their Division 2 entry, NAPA Truck will also be the sole sponsors of the weekend’s third race, scheduled for Sunday morning.
Phil Dodd, Sales Director of NAPA Truck, said: “We’re thrilled to have this opportunity, it’s an exciting time. NAPA Truck has grown exponentially since its launch earlier this year, and Convoy in the Park aligns perfectly with where we hope to take the brand in the future.”
