With Convoy Cymru and Convoy on the Plain firmly in the rear-view mirror, the countdown to Convoy in the Park – which takes place at Donington Park on the 12-13 August – is now on!
With little under a month to go until one of the biggest events on the UK motorsport calendar, why not check out what’s set to take centre stage at the two-day spectacle:
Headlining the track action over the course of the weekend will be five colossal contests from Division 1 and Division 2 of the British Truck Racing Championship; which will include stars such as Ryan Smith, Stuart Oliver, David Jenkins, Paul Rivett, Adam Bint and many more.
INTERNATIONAL TRUCK PRIX
Four further truck races will also take centre stage under the flightpath of East Midlands airport during the weekend as the hotly-anticipated International Truck Prix makes its debut, with some of the biggest names in global truck racing poised to line up on the grid to battle for outright honours.
BUMPER SUPPORT RACE PROGRAMME
It won’t just be the titans of truck racing that are in action as the Pickup Truck Racing Championship, Kumho BMW Championship, Lancaster Insurance MGOC Championship, CNC Heads Sports/Saloons Championship and the Classic & Modern Motorsport Club also feature on the bill.
Jaw-dropping machinery won’t be confined to just the track as more than 1000 Show Trucks from all corners of the UK are poised to be on display around the venue. In immaculate condition, the Show Trucks will be competing across a number of different categories during the weekend as well.
