Truck Sport UK is delighted to announce that the 2023 edition of Convoy in the Park will see a double dose of truck racing following confirmation that an ‘International Truck Prix’ will be held in addition to the British Truck Racing Championship.
Scheduled to take place at Donington Park on August 12/13 next year, a blockbuster nine races will headline what promises to be one of the biggest and busiest truck racing events in the world.
Alongside five heavyweight contests from the BTRC, the International Truck Prix – which is open to both British and International competitors – has already amassed plenty of interest with four races confirmed to take centre stage at the Leicestershire venue.
The debut of the International Truck Prix is just the latest highlight of what is poised to be a weekend to remember with a variety of car and pickup truck races also featuring on the billing.
Off-track, more than 1000 immaculately presented road going Show Trucks will surround the circuit along with a large array of Truck and Trailer manufacturer displays and demonstrations, as well as a host of high profile transport industry product and component suppliers.
Convoy in the Park will ensure there is fun for all the family too with a funfair and stage entertainment as just a handful of the attractions that will captivate young and old.

“This has been something we have wanted to do for a while now and thanks to the support and hard work of so many behind the scenes, we can now make it a reality – and it promises to be quite the spectacle.
“We’ve had plenty of interest from some of the most notable drivers and teams that compete in Europe and around the world so I’m confident in saying we will have one of the most competitive truck racing grids ever assembled come August.
“Convoy in the Park is one of the biggest events on the UK motorsport calendar too and to now be able to say we will have no less than nine truck races is fantastic. It’s shaping up to be one of the biggest events we’ve ever done and we’re looking forward to announcing more news soon.”
