Like several other drivers, Steven Powell is somewhat of a stalwart of the British Truck Racing Championship.

With the Powell name entrenched in the sport, it was always likely that the Kent racer would cut his teeth in the super-sized series and since he did, he’s been captivating fans across the length and breadth of country.

Claiming his first Division 2 title back in 2011, Powell went on a sublime run of form which saw him retain the crown all the way until 2015. After a few lean years, he returned to the summit to clinch a sixth championship in 2020.

Electing to make the long-awaited step up to Division 1 in 2022, the 333 Motorsport driver has become a regular fixture towards the sharp end of the grid. Hopes are now high that 2026 can see him get amongst the title action once again.
