Considering that Ryan Smith’s foray into truck racing didn’t begin until 2014, it is somewhat staggering to see what the Derbyshire racer has gone on to achieve in the British Truck Racing Championship.

On the pace from the get-go, the Worldwide Truck Racing driver secured his first title in 2016. At that time, nobody could have foresee the decade of dominance that would follow.

Claiming ten consecutive titles, Smith is widely regarded as one of the greatest ever truck racing and the statistics are there to back it up, with more than 100 race wins and podiums to his name.

The 2026 season could well be a history-making one for Smith as he looks to become the first-ever driver to win 11 titles in the premier class.
