Fan favourite Neil Yates is one of many drivers that embodies what the British Truck Racing Championship is all about.

A powerhouse of the haulage industry, Yates originally watched the sport from afar before deciding in 2023 that he would finally get behind the wheel. His debut meeting at Thruxton however didn’t go to plan as brake failure caused him to roll at the first corner.

Bouncing back from that travail, the Kent racer enjoyed a solid showing throughout 2024 and then pieced together his best campaign to-date a year later under the 333 Motorsport banner.

Scoring a popular podium finish at the Brands Hatch curtain-raiser, Yates punched in a number of standout drives throughout 2025, claiming further silverware. He returns for more wheel-to-wheel racing in 2026 and has silverware in his sights.
