All-star grid ready to battle for International Truck Prix honours

If five British Truck Racing Championship races doesn’t whet your appetite at Donington Park this weekend then don’t fear because the International Truck Prix is also set to feature on the schedule with a further four blockbuster contests.

Bringing together some of the biggest names that compete in and around Europe onto the same grid, the International Truck Prix has proven to be a smash-hit since first debuting in 2023 and this year should be no different.

One of the standout names on this year’s entry list is the return of Isle of Man TT legend John McGuinness MBE. Having swapped out his leathers and motorcycle for something more super-sized in each of the past two years, McGuinness is back to challenge for outright honours again.

He’s joined on the grid by a number of standout talents that have previously cut their teeth in the British Truck Racing Championship.

Mark Taylor has been showcasing his talents on the European stage in recent years whilst the Reid Trucksport duo of Simon Reid and Craig Reid will be out to remind everyone what they are capable of in their striking red IVECO machines.

Jamie Anderson has largely dominated the International Truck Prix in recent years and he’ll be back once more, albeit this time he will only compete in Sunday’s two contests.

Other familiar names include Scotsman Jock Borthwick, current Truck Sport UK Director Steve Thomas, the well renowned Terry Gibbon and Nathan Smith, who is the son of current Division 1 race winner David Smith.

Completing the entry list for the third-running of the International Truck Prix are three current drivers in the British series; 333 Motorsport’s Steven Powell and Neil Yates, and last year’s Division 2 champion John Powell.
