Weekend Guide: Donington Park – August 9/10 2025

The British Truck Racing Championship reaches the mid-point of the season this weekend as Donington Park stages the biggest event of the 2025 campaign, Convoy in the Park.

Guaranteed to be an event that will live long in the memory, the two-day spectacle is unsurprisingly poised to welcome a bumper trackside crowd to the famous Leicestershire venue.

Entry List

The battle for supremacy across Division 1 and Division 2 has been as competitive as ever this year and its set to reach fever pitch this weekend, especially given how Donington Park lends itself to plenty of overtaking. 

In Division 1, multiple champions Stuart Oliver and Ryan Smith occupy the top two spots in the standings however they can’t rest on their laurels as a number of other contenders are all sat hot on their heels. 

Over in Division 2, Jake Evans was an absentee at Thruxton due to an engine failure but he is set to return this weekend and he’ll be going all-out to pull himself back into title contention with Bradley Harvey, Simon Cole and Callum Eason.

Convoy in the Park

On top of a bumper race schedule, those flocking to Donington Park this weekend be able to experience a festival of all things trucking thanks to Convoy in the Park.

Bigger and better than ever before, the two-day event is set to include more than 1000 show trucks, a live action arena, kids zone, live music, exhibitors stands, driving experiences as just some of the attractions that will be onsite.

International Truck Prix

If five British Truck Racing Championship races aren’t enough to whet your appetite at this weekend then don’t fear because a further four colossal truck racing contests will feature on the billing courtesy of the International Truck Prix. 

Now in its third year, the entry list for the 2025 edition includes big names such as Jamie Anderson, Jock Borthwick, Craig Reid Simon Reid, Terry Gibbon and Isle of Man TT legend John McGuinness MBE.

Tickets

Tickets to the event will be available to purchase on the gate across the weekend. Children 13 and under are admitted for free when accompanied with a paying adult.
