Team Oliver Racing has announced that ten-time champion Stuart Oliver will be back behind the wheel of his Volvo VNL for the 2025 British Truck Racing Championship season.
The iconic bonneted machine suffered a major mechanical failure during a practice session at Thruxton last July which resulted in a severe impact and the truck not racing for the remainder of the campaign.
While ten-time champion Oliver raced an MAN TGX at subsequent rounds, the team set about assessing and fixing the damage that had been sustained at the high-speed Hampshire venue.
After months of hard work and long nights, Team Oliver Racing has now confirmed that the Volvo will line up on the grid this year.
“I’m extremely pleased to get back on track with my faithful Volvo,” said Oliver.
“It’s a great-looking truck and a firm favourite, not just with me but with the fans too. I can’t thank the team enough for their hard work with the major rebuild that was required.”
Team Oliver Racing’s newest recruit Martin Gibson will take to the wheel of the MAN TGX that Oliver piloted at select rounds last year.
