BTRC renews sustainability partnership with Silvey Fleet and BWOC Ltd

The British Truck Racing Championship will continue its push towards a more sustainable future in 2025 after renewing its partnership with Silvey Fleet and BWOC Ltd for a second successive season.

Becoming one of the first championships in the United Kingdom to commit to solely using sustainable fuel, the super-sized series will again ensure that all competitors power their machines on Renewable Diesel (HVO).

Aligning with Silvey Fleet, a leading fuel card and fleet management solutions provider, and BWOC Ltd, one of the UKs largest fuel suppliers, last year the 2024 proved to be a smash-hit for the series green credentials.

Both Silvey Fleet and BWOC Ltd will therefore continue to work with the BTRC to significantly reduce its CO2 emissions through the provision of Renewable Diesel (HVO) being distributed to teams and drivers at all seven events this year.

Made from 100% renewable and sustainable feedstocks, Renewable Diesel (HVO) can achieve a net 90% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, it is a safe and easy alternative that can be used in place of conventional diesel without having to make any engine modifications.

Amy Jones, BWOC Ltd Managing Director: We’re proud to continue our support of the British Truck Racing Championship as their Sustainability Partner and sole supplier of Renewable Diesel.

“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to driving innovation, reducing carbon emissions, and leading the way in sustainable transport solutions. It’s exciting to see high-performance motorsport embrace cleaner fuels, and we’re thrilled to be part of that journey.”
